Job summary

Energy Transfer in Douglas, WY, seeks a skilled technician to provide instrument and electrical support across construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, SCADA, PLCs, and related equipment at gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role requires reading schematics and regulations, can involve on-call duty, and may include some travel to sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrument and electrical equipment components.
• Install, diagnose, and maintain pneumatic and intelligent instruments, electrical distribution systems, motor control gear, and associated equipment software.
• Read manuals, policy, engineering standards, drawings, and schematics including electrical, pneumatic, and P&ID’s.
• Test, calibrate, and document plant and compressor station control and safety devices per applicable standards.
• Participate in call outs and on-call requirements.
• Provide work direction and mentoring to less experienced staff.
