Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and related control equipment in gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Key duties include reading manuals and drawings, calibrating devices, and ensuring compliance with DOT 192/193/195 and OSHA 1910.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook/Word.
• Experience troubleshooting control solutions (InTouch Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, DeltaV).
• Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 and OSHA 1910 related to electrical systems.
• Understanding of NEC and safety policies applicable to plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Maintain pneumatic and intelligent instruments, distribution systems, motor control gear, and associated software.
• Read manuals, drawings, and schematics including P&ID drawings for controls.
• Test, calibrate, and document control and safety devices per regulatory requirements.
• Participate in on-call requirements and safety programs; mentor less experienced staff.
• Provide accurate written and electronic reporting and ensure LOTO procedures are followed.
