Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an Instrumentation/Electrical Technician to provide technical support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations. The role involves repairing, installing, and maintaining SCADA, PLCs, DCS and related equipment across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and experience withWonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix/DeltaV. OT/on-call duties and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and process control systems.
• Proficiency reading electrical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
• Ability to document work clearly and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and control equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on instrument and electrical systems.
• Read manuals, policies, and engineering standards; ensure compliance with DOT/PSM rules.
• Provide mentoring and oversight to junior staff and coordinate with contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotation and safety programs.
