Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with strong control systems coursework.
• Minimum 3 years of design engineering experience for power plant control systems.
• Mechatronics coursework desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Join a multi-discipline engineering team on nuclear power plant instrumentation and controls improvement projects.
• Prepare specifications for procurement of I&C equipment and perform engineering calculations for upgrades.
• Travel to client/vendor offices for design reviews and to plant sites for coordination and field verification.
• Participate in mentoring, technical sessions, and on-the-job training to grow engineering expertise.
