Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Instrument and Controls Designer to create P&ID diagrams and panel layouts for data center, semiconductor, and manufacturing projects. You will design 3D models and 2D drawings, work in global multidisciplinary teams, and manage schedules and reporting.

Requirements include a degree in engineering, 2+ years BIM design experience, and proficiency with BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Hybrid work model with offices and remote locations is supported.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&IDs.
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&ID diagrams following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology.
• Design panels including layout and wiring diagrams.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of control systems.
• Manage project schedules and prepare reports.
