Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams and panel layouts for state-of-the-art facilities. You will produce 3D models and 2D drawings, collaborating with global teams across multiple projects and timelines.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree, have 2+ years BIM design experience, and are proficient with BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
