Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to work on data center, semiconductor, and manufacturing facility projects. You will develop P&ID diagrams following ANSI/ISA S5.1, design electrical panels, and produce 3D models and 2D drawings as part of global teams.

The role requires a degree in engineering, 2+ years BIM design experience, and hands-on using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. The position offers a hybrid work model with multiple US locations and a base salary range

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&IDs).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
