Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to work on data centers, semiconductor and manufacturing facilities. You will create P&ID diagrams, 3D models and panel wiring layouts, coordinating with global teams.

The role requires BIM design experience, familiarity with P&IDs, and proficiency with BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Hybrid work and travel opportunities are available across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&IDs).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data centers, semiconductor and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
