Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Instrument and Controls Designer for opportunities across the United States. You will develop P&ID diagrams, 3D models and panel layouts for data centers and industrial facilities, collaborating in global teams to meet project schedules.

Ideal candidates will have an Engineering degree, 2+ years BIM design experience, and proficiency with BIM tools like BIM360, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, plus Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&IDs).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data centers, semiconductor, and other facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Collaborate within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
