Job summary

Audubon is seeking an Instrument Engineering Supervisor to join our Houston, TX office. You will lead a team of engineers on instrument engineering assignments spanning design of equipment, components, structures or systems.

You will manage project scope, schedules and budgets while ensuring quality and safety across deliverables. Responsibilities include directing checking, interfacing with clients and vendors, and developing design guidelines.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles preferred.
• Field experience required and large multi-discipline project lead experience preferred.
• Experience with instrumented control and safety systems preferred.
• Familiarity with ISA, NEC, API codes preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience within an engineering environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of instrument and electrical design codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of engineers on instrument engineering projects.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Plan, budget and schedule group workload and resources.
• Review drawings and calculations for quality and accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to HSSE standards and safety practices.
• Develop internal design guidelines and procedures.
• Manage client relationships and pursue repeat business.
