Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking an Instrument Engineering Associate I in our Houston, TX fabrication office. You will perform entry-level instrument engineering assignments for designing equipment, components, structures or systems, under supervision.

Responsibilities include gathering information from vendor drawings, preparing basic specifications and sketches, and reviewing vendor drawings for compliance. You will interact with clients and vendors while adhering to HSSE standards and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• ABET-accredited degree preferred.
• Electrical engineering degree preferred.
• EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and record information from vendor drawings, catalogs and manuals for engineering specifications.
• Prepare basic specifications and sketches under supervision, detailing design requirements and standards.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications and budgets.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors and vendors to support project delivery.
