Job summary

Audubon Companies, LLC is seeking an Instrument Engineering Associate III to join our Houston, TX office. The role involves performing instrument engineering assignments for designing equipment, components, structures or systems and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

You will prepare specifications, sketches and calculations, review vendor drawings, and interact with clients and vendors. Travel to sites may be required to evaluate conditions and ensure safe design practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• ABET-accredited degree preferred; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, prepare specifications detailing performance, components, codes and vendor drawings.
• Prepare sketches, perform calculations and develop analysis models.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with specs.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Ensure projects meet schedule and budget.
