UC Santa Barbara is seeking a Classroom Technology Specialist to provide dedicated instructional support across 275 spaces, ensuring reliable in-person and hybrid instruction. You will troubleshoot audio, video, and computer systems and manage lab software deployment with a focus on timely responses and user satisfaction.

Under supervision, you will support Tier 1/2 requests, document procedures, and collaborate with faculty and the CAVS team to plan upgrades and improve processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree required in a related area or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience communicating technical and non-technical information clearly to users at various levels.
• 1+ years supporting higher education A/V technologies.
• 1+ years supporting software installation and troubleshooting.
• Evidence of strong customer service focus and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide timely on-the-ground real-time troubleshooting for classroom computer, audio, and video systems.
• Oversee selection, maintenance, deployment, and support of lab software across 275 spaces.
• Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 support tickets, document processes, and coordinate student staff for deployments.
• Collaborate with faculty and AAIT to drive upgrades and process improvements.
