UC Santa Barbara is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to serve as the primary contact for Academic Affairs departments and senior campus offices. You will provide professional support for computers, mobile devices, software, peripherals, and network connectivity while documenting issues and coordinating installations and upgrades.

You will help with campus-wide applications, user access, testing, and training, and contribute to high-quality customer service and effective communications

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years supporting software installation and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years communicating technical information clearly to users at various levels.
• 1+ years supporting higher education AV technologies.
• Evidence of a strong customer service focus.
• Proven track record of problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Provide responsive, professional end-user support for computers, devices, software, and networks.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade technology per security standards.
• Coordinate equipment purchases and training for users.
• Support campus-wide applications, resolve service requests, and document issues.
• Assist with meetings, AV systems, and training across departments.
