Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking dedicated Instructional Support Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year. You will work in school-based settings to provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom support, helping students develop academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and life skills.

Ideal candidates are patient, collaborative, and able to follow instructional plans. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities across districts, with competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Paraeducator.
• Experience with children in preschool through grade 8.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructional plans, classroom procedures, and behavioral support strategies.
• Authorization to work in the United States; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom-wide instructional support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons, activities, and routines.
• Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and skill development.
• Support implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and classroom modifications as directed.
• Help students stay engaged and actively participate in classroom activities.
• Develop academic, communication, social-emotional, organizational, and life skills.
• Use positive reinforcement and proactive behavior support strategies.
• Monitor participation and communicate observations to the school team.
• Prepare classroom materials, instructional resources, and learning activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff.
