Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year in a school-based setting. You will provide instructional support to students with diverse needs, reinforce classroom routines, and collaborate with teachers and staff to promote academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and life skills development.

Ideal candidates are patient, adaptable, and able to support students in both individual and group learning environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or individuals with special needs is valued.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in both individual and group learning environments.
• Experience in school settings or with student support roles is preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom-wide instructional support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons, activities, and routines.
• Assist with academic tasks and skill development activities.
• Support implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and classroom modifications as directed.
• Maintain documentation and student records as required.
• Provide personal care assistance when required and help maintain a safe learning environment.
