Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking an Instructional Support Paraprofessional to assist teachers and support staff in a school-based setting for the 2026-2027 year. You will work with students with diverse needs to reinforce instruction and help them grow academically and socially.

This role involves one-on-one, small-group, and classroom support, collaboration with educators, and implementing instructional plans under supervision.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school teams.
• Experience supporting learning, behavior, and social-emotional development in educational settings.
• Ability to follow instructional plans and classroom procedures.
• Comfortable supporting students with diverse needs and accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom-wide instructional support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons and classroom routines.
• Assist students with academic tasks and skill development activities.
• Support implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and modifications as directed.
• Help students stay engaged, focused, and participating in activities.
• Develop academic, communication, social-emotional, organizational, and life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff.
• Maintain accurate student documentation and records.
