Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking an Instructional Aide for our Stockton schools. Under direction, you will support individuals or small groups in both in-person and distance learning environments, complementing instructional programs and helping with behavior and clerical tasks.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, paid over a 12-month period, with a salary range of $20.00 - $24.00 per hour and 60 extra days of school break pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and either an AA/BA or 48 college units or ParaPro approved.
• Experience with students in academic/behavioral support settings preferred.
• Ability to learn and use instructional technology and Google Suite tools.

Responsibilities

• Tutor or support students in small groups or one-to-one in core subjects.
• Create a safe, clean classroom and learning environment.
• Prepare instructional materials and equipment for activities.
• Assist in curriculum modifications for students.
• Provide testing accommodations and supervise tests when needed.
• Review and correct student work and support behavior interventions.
• Model positive behavior and support social interactions among students.
