Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is hiring an Instructional Aide for our Elementary School. The role supports individual or small groups in academic and behavioral areas, in-person and virtually, under supervision of certificated staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and optionally a BA or 48 units or ParaPro; bilingual skills preferred. The position is full-time with a 12-month pay schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Paid or volunteer experience working with students or children in an academic or behavioral support setting.

Responsibilities

• Tutor or support students in small groups or one-to-one in core subjects.
• Help establish a safe, clean classroom and learning environment.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist teachers with curriculum modifications.
• Provide testing accommodations and supervise tests.
• Support social interactions and positive relationships among students.
