Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in special education or general education settings. The role includes after-school activities, tutoring, and program documentation at our Stockton sites.

Responsibilities include small-group instruction, behavior support, attendance tracking, and collaboration with teachers, families, and community partners. Office and classroom duties are also part of the daily routine.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Title I paraprofessionals must have a HS diploma or equivalent and one of the listed options.
• Options include AA or BA degree (or 48 units) or passing ParaPro or CBEST.

Responsibilities

• Implement after-school activities in core programs.
• Document schedules, lesson plans, and participation.
• Use positive behavior management with students.
• Accurately track daily attendance.
• Assist with registration, customer service, and outreach.
• Maintain health and safety standards in the classroom.
• Tutor students in small groups or one-on-one.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist teachers.
