Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is hiring an Instructional Aide/After School Instructor for KIPP Bayview Elementary to support 60-80 students in a special education or general education setting, during and after school. The role requires 1-2 years youth development experience, CPR/First Aid, high school diploma or equivalent with alternative credentials, and proficiency with Google Suite.

The position is full-time, 12-month pay with school-break pay; salary range $20.92-$24.84 per hour,

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.
• Paraprofessional duties require a high school diploma or equivalent, with options for further credentials.
• Candidates should meet any of the education/assessment options (BA or 48 units, ParaPro, CBEST).
• Strong communication and engagement with diverse youth, families, and community leaders are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional support in general or special education settings.
• Provide homework help, academic support, and enrichment after school on-site.
• Support classroom and school-wide behavior plans and clerical tasks as assigned.
