Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in both special education and general classrooms, with duties in-person and virtually. Under supervision, you will tutor small groups or individuals, reinforce learning, and assist in materials, behavior management, and safety in the classroom.

This full-time role runs on a 12-month calendar with paid breaks; the hourly salary is $20.00-$24.00, plus extended break pay, making annual compensation

Qualifications

• Paid or volunteer experience with students in academic or behavioral support.
• Ability to implement behavioral expectations and support classroom routines.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise testing accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in small groups or one-to-one to reinforce learning.
• Assist in creating curriculum modifications under supervision.
• Prepare instructional materials and equipment for activities.
• Provide testing accommodations and monitor tests when needed.
• Support positive behavior interventions and student relationships.
• Assist with field trips and school activities.
