Job summary

KIPP Northern California is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in core academics and behavior within both in-person and virtual settings. Work under a Lead Teacher to reinforce learning and ensure a safe, engaging classroom environment.

The role is full-time, paid over 12 months, with salary $20.00-$24.00 per hour, plus 60 days of break pay, often exceeding district peers due to the extended annual pay period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AA or BA or 48 units in progress.
• Pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment (460) preferred.
• Paid or volunteer experience with students in academic or behavioral support.

Responsibilities

• Tutor and reinforce learning in core subjects in small groups or one-to-one.
• Maintain a clean, safe, cooperative classroom and learning environment.
• Prepare and set up instructional materials and equipment for activities.
