Job summary

KIPP Northern California seeks an Instructional Aide to support students in core academic and specialized subjects, in both in-person and distance learning environments. Under the Lead Teacher, you will tutor, prepare materials, and assist with behavior plans to foster inclusive learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AA/BA or 48 units preferred.
• Experience with students in academic or behavioral support settings.
• Ability to learn instructional tech for distance learning.

Responsibilities

• Tutor and reinforce learning in small groups or 1:1.
• Maintain safe, cooperative classroom and school environment.
• Prepare materials and assist in curriculum modifications.
• Support testing accommodations and review student work.
• Assist in behavior intervention and social interactions.
