Carter Lumber Company in Savannah, GA is seeking an Installed Manager to oversee installation services, repairs and remodeling work performed by installers, both employees and subcontractors. You will manage schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of building materials and local codes, excellent customer service, and the ability to coordinate with sales teams.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials or installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Ability to solve problems by using strong judgement in analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating the problem.
• Possess excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: Identify and recruit qualified field personnel and subcontractors; ensure paperwork requirements are met; ensure installers follow the code of conduct; collaborate with Installed Service Manager to build a strong team to meet sales goals.
• Job Management: Schedule and coordinate installed services; identify installed sales opportunities; present to customers; research market trends to grow installed sales; ensure timely completion per contract.
• Safety: Ensure installers work safely and OSHA regulations are followed; conduct inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Knowledge & Training: Direct and train Installers to meet regulatory guidelines; ensure proper training for safe and efficient installations.
