Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking an Installed Manager to oversee installation services, repairs, and remodeling performed by installers and subcontractors. You will manage installation schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain strong customer service.

Knowledge of building materials, codes, and installation techniques is essential for success. Responsibilities include program and project management, coordinating field personnel, and ensuring safety standards are met while driving sales

Qualifications

• 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials or installation experience required.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and processes.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to analyze and recommend improvements.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: identify and recruit qualified field personnel and subcontractors; ensure paperwork requirements are met; ensure installers follow the code of conduct; collaborate with Installed Service Manager to build a strong team to hit sales and margin goals.
• Job Management: schedule and coordinate installed services; work with existing sales force to identify opportunities and present installed sales to customers; research market opportunities to grow installed sales; ensure timely completion within contract terms.
• Safety: ensure installers work safely and OSHA regulations are followed; conduct inspections to promote best practices.
• Knowledge & Training: direct and train installers to meet regulatory guidelines; ensure installers have training to install products safely and efficiently.
