Carter Lumber is seeking an Installed Manager to oversee installation services, repairs, and remodeling by both employees and subcontractors. You will manage installation schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and uphold customer service excellence.

The role requires strong installation knowledge, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to lead a team while meeting contract obligations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials/installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Ability to solve problems with sound judgment in analysis and troubleshooting.
• Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: Identify and recruit qualified field personnel and subcontractors; ensure paperwork is completed; ensure installers follow the code of conduct; collaborate with Installed Service Manager to build the sales team.
• Job Management: Schedule and coordinate installed services; work with sales force to identify opportunities; research market trends; ensure timely completion per contract; handle issues professionally.
• Safety: Ensure installers perform work safely and OSHA regulations are followed; conduct inspections to enforce safety standards.
• Knowledge & Training: Direct and train installers to meet regulatory guidelines; ensure installers have necessary training to install product safely and efficiently.
