Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a detail-oriented coordinator to manage installers and subcontractors from first contact through contract closeout at our Long Island City, NY site. This full-time on-site role requires strong scheduling skills, organizational ability, and professional communication with internal teams and customers.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $28–$33, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of customer service and scheduling experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to communicate in a professional business manner.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installers and subcontractors onto installation jobs from first contact to contract closeout.
• Make initial contact with customers within 48 hours of job booking.
• Ensure site readiness and coordinate resources (lift, network, personnel).
• Schedule and track technicians and vendors to meet on-time installation targets.
• Create job packets and maintain installation progress in the portal.
