Carter Lumber is seeking an Installed Manager in Charleston to oversee installation services and remodeling work performed by installers and subcontractors. The role focuses on coordinating schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and driving customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials/installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and processes.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate problems.
• Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: identify and recruit qualified field personnel and subcontractors; ensure paperwork is met; ensure installers follow code of conduct; collaborate with Installed Service Manager to build a strong team.
• Job Management: schedule and coordinate installed services; work with sales force to identify opportunities; research market trends; ensure timely contract completion; maintain high workmanship standards.
• Safety: ensure OSHA regulations are followed; conduct inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Knowledge & Training: direct and train installers; ensure training is adequate for safe, efficient installation.
