Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking an Installed Manager in Charleston to oversee installation services, schedules, and a team of installers and subcontractors. You will work closely with the Installed Service Manager to build a strong installed sales team that meets sales and margin goals.

The role emphasizes installing services, coordinating with the sales force, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and providing excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials/installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems with good judgment.
• Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: identify recruits, ensure paperwork and conduct codes, support sales and margin goals.
• Job Management: schedule and coordinate installed services, identify opportunities and deliver presentations, track market trends.
• Safety: ensure installers work safely and follow OSHA regulations, conduct safety inspections.
• Knowledge & Training: direct and train installers, ensure regulatory guidelines are met and safe product installation.
