Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking an Installed Manager in Charleston, SC to oversee installation services, repairs and remodeling work performed by installers and subcontractors. You will manage schedules, ensure safety and quality, and align field teams with sales goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials or installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Ability to solve problems by using strong judgment in analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating the problem.
• Possess excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: Identifies and recruits qualified field personnel and subcontractors; Ensures all paperwork requirements are met; Ensures installers complete work according to the company’s code of conduct; Collaborates with Installed Service Manager to build a strong installed sales team to meet sales and margin goals.
• Job Management: Schedules and coordinates installed services; Works with sales force to identify installed sales opportunities and presents installed sales to customers; Researches market opportunities to grow installed sales; Ensures timely completion of jobs per contract.
• Safety: Ensures Installers work safely and OSHA regulations are followed; Conducts inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Knowledge & Training: Directs and trains Installers to meet regulatory guidelines; Ensures installers have training to install products safely and efficiently.
