Job summary

Sears Home Improvement Products is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee the installation process for a defined product set within the district. The role handles scheduling, quality control, customer service, materials management and coordinating independent contractors to deliver work that meets Sears’ standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years on-the-job experience in the construction business (management experience preferred).
• State contractor licensing law may require holding a license related to installation/construction work.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all jobs in progress from start to finish.
• Recruiting and training sub-contractors.
• Controlling the communications with the customer on job and service issues.
• Supporting the installation process through effective materials management.
• Managing customer service related issues and expenses for all products lines assigned.
• Supervises (or shares supervision) of warehouse staff (employees and/or temporary workers) and the Installation Assistant.
• Supporting the installation process by identifying, communicating and resolving contract issues with sales staff.
• Maintain QED standards in district location.
• Ensure proper permits and licenses for all jobs have been obtained and are continually maintained.
