Job summary

Sears Home Improvement Products is seeking a Project Coordinator to control and manage installation processes for assigned products within the district. Responsibilities include scheduling, quality/customer satisfaction, materials management and managing independent contractors to ensure workmanship quality and timely delivery.

Acts as liaison between customer and company on installation, contract and service issues.

Qualifications

• Two to Five years on-the-job experience in the construction business (management experience preferred).
• As required by state contractor licensing law, may be required to hold a specific license related to installation/construction work.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all jobs in progress from start to finish.
• Recruiting and training sub-contractors.
• Controlling communications with the customer on job and service issues.
• Support the installation process through effective materials management.
• Managing customer service related issues and expenses for all products lines assigned.
• Supervises (or shares supervision) of warehouse staff and Installation Assistant.
• Support the installation process by identifying, communicating and resolving contract issues with sales staff.
• Maintain QED standards in district location.
• Ensure proper permits and licenses for all jobs have been obtained and are continually maintained.

Education

Two to five years experience in construction management (experience preferred)
