Job summary

Sears Home Improvement Products is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee installation projects for a defined product set within the district. The role includes scheduling, quality control, customer satisfaction, materials management and coordinating a team of independent contractors.

You will act as the primary liaison between customers and Sears, settle issues, ensure permits and licenses are in place, and supervise subcontractors and warehouse staff to keep jobs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years on-the-job experience in construction/installation management.
• License related to installation/construction work may be required by state laws.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all jobs in progress from start to finish.
• Recruit and train subcontractors.
• Communicate with customers on job and service issues.
• Support the installation process through materials management.
• Manage customer service related issues and expenses for all products lines assigned.
• Supervise (or share supervision) of warehouse staff and Installation Assistant.
• Resolve contract issues with sales staff and customers.
• Maintain Sears' quality standards and ensure permits and licenses are obtained.
