Job summary

Sears Home Improvement Products is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage the installation process for assigned products within the district. The role covers scheduling, quality and customer satisfaction, materials management and oversight of independent contractors.

The incumbent will recruit and oversee subcontractors, liaise with customers on contracts and service issues, and ensure compliance with Sears’ standards and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of on-the-job experience in the construction business (management experience preferred).
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance is required.
• Licensing as required by state contractor laws may be required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all jobs in progress from start to finish.
• Recruiting and training sub-contractors.
• Coordinating communications with customers on job and service issues.
• Supporting the installation process through effective materials management.
• Managing customer service-related issues and expenses for assigned product lines.
• Supervising or sharing supervision of warehouse staff and Installation Assistant.
• Assisting in resolving contract issues with sales staff.
• Maintaining QED standards at district location.
• Ensuring all permits and licenses are obtained and maintained.
