Job summary

Sears Home Improvement Products is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee the installation process for a defined product set within the district. You will schedule activities, ensure quality and customer satisfaction, and coordinate with independent contractors and the sales team.

The role includes recruiting or supervising subcontractors, managing project communications, and resolving service issues to maintain Sears' standards.

Qualifications

• Strong operational experience in HVAC.
• 2–5 years on-the-job experience in construction management (experience in supervising subcontractors preferred).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Willingness to travel and conduct site inspections (approx. 8–10 per month).

Responsibilities

• Supervises all jobs in progress from start to finish.
• Recruiting and training sub-contractors as needed.
• Manages customer communications on job and service issues.
• Controls project-related expenses and customer service for assigned product lines.
• Oversees warehouse staff and Installation Assistant as required.
• Ensures permits, licenses, and insurance coverage are in place for all jobs.
• Identifies contract issues with sales staff and resolves them.
