Job summary

Sears Holdings Corporation is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee the installation process for assigned products within the district. You will schedule, ensure quality, manage materials, and supervise subcontractors to meet Sears’ standards.

You will act as the primary liaison between customers and the company on installation, contracts, and service issues. The role requires 2–5 years in construction, license and insurance, and experience managing subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Two to five years on-the-job experience in the construction business (management experience preferred).
• Must possess valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Experience managing subcontractors or a subcontractor based business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all jobs in progress from start to finish.
• Recruiting and training sub-contractors.
• Controlling the communications with the customer on job and service issues.
• Support the installation process through effective materials management.
• Managing customer service related issues and expenses for all products lines assigned.
• Supervises (or shares supervision) of warehouse staff and the Installation Assistant.
• Support the installation process by identifying, communicating and resolving contract issues with sales staff.
• Maintain QED standards in district location.
• Ensure proper permits and licenses for all jobs have been obtained and are continually maintained.
