Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking an Installed Manager to oversee installation services, repairs and remodeling work performed by installers, including employees and subcontractors, while managing installation schedules.

The role requires knowledge of building materials, local building codes, and installation techniques, plus a strong commitment to customer service and a belief in the company's mission and goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials/installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Ability to solve problems using strong judgment in analysis, troubleshooting, and evaluation.
• Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit qualified field personnel and subcontractors.
• Schedule and coordinate installed services; work with sales to identify opportunities.
• Ensure installers complete work according to company code of conduct.
• Work with Installed Service Manager to build a strong installed sales team to hit goals.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and OSHA regulations are adhered to.
