Carter Lumber seeks an Installed Manager to oversee installation services, repairs, and remodeling by employees and subcontractors, and to manage installation schedules. A solid knowledge of building materials, local codes, and proper techniques is essential, as is a strong commitment to customer service.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving, organization and communication skills, and a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. Full-time benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials or installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Ability to solve problems using judgment in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating.
• Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and recruits qualified field personnel and subcontractors.
• Ensures all paperwork requirements are met.
• Ensures installers complete work according to the company’s code of conduct.
• Works with Installed Service Manager to create a strong installed sales team to meet sales and margin goals.
• Schedules and coordinates installed services.
• Works with existing sales force to identify installed sales opportunities and makes presentations to potential customers.
• Researches market opportunities and trends to grow installed sales.
• Ensures jobs are completed timely and according to contract.
• Solves issues with patience and respect while ensuring high quality workmanship.
• Ensures installers perform their job safely and OSHA regulations are followed.
• Directs and conducts inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Directs and trains Installers to meet regulatory guidelines and safety requirements.
