Carter Lumber Company is seeking an Installed Manager to oversee installation services, repairs, and remodeling work performed by installers and subcontractors. The role emphasizes knowledge of building materials, adherence to local codes, and strong customer service.

Responsibilities include program and project management, scheduling, coordinating services, and ensuring safety compliance while driving installation opportunities and growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials or installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Ability to solve problems by using strong judgement in analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating the problem.
• Possess excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: Identifies and recruits qualified field personnel and subcontractors.
• Program Management: Ensures all paperwork requirements are met.
• Program Management: Ensures installers complete work according to the code of conduct.
• Program Management: Collaborates with Installed Service Manager to build a strong installed sales team to meet sales and margin goals.
• Job Management: Schedules and coordinates installed services.
• Job Management: Works with sales force to identify installed sales opportunities and presents to customers.
• Job Management: Researches market opportunities and trends to grow installed sales.
• Job Management: Ensures jobs are completed timely and per contract.
• Job Management: Resolves issues with courtesy while upholding high workmanship quality.
• Safety: Ensures installers work safely and OSHA regulations are followed.
• Safety: Conducts inspections to enforce safety standards.
• Knowledge & Training: Directs and trains installers to meet regulatory guidelines.
• Knowledge & Training: Ensures installers have training to install products safely and efficiently.
