Job summary

The Carter Lumber Installed Manager oversees installation services, repairs and remodeling work by installers and subcontractors, and manages installation schedules to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship.

This role requires knowledge of building materials, local codes and installation techniques, plus a strong commitment to customer service. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential for field operations and on-site coordination.

Qualifications

• 2+ years installed sales or related building materials or installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and recruits qualified field personnel and subcontractors.
• Schedules and coordinates installed services.
• Educates and trains installers to ensure safety and quality.
• Works with sales force to identify installed sales opportunities.
• Ensures jobs are completed timely and per contract.
• Directs safety inspections and enforces OSHA standards.
