Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Product Sales Specialist trainer to develop a capable sales team and ensure customers receive expert product information and service. You will lead training, certify staff, and uphold store standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include directing associates, maintaining merchandising, processing sales, and teaching the basic P’s of retail while complying with safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in line with the company’s core values.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate knowledge of merchandise and installation.
• Maintain department merchandising, pricing and organization.
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Stock and tag merchandise displays; create price tags and signs.
