Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking Secondary Education teachers to demonstrate Bible knowledge and outstanding teaching for students in grades 6-12. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is caring, committed and proficient in teaching.

Responsibilities include completing training, teaching LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum, maintaining accurate records, and fostering a well-ordered classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students)
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum
• Maintain Records (attendance, rosters, materials)
• Maintain the Classroom (organization, safety)
• Communicate with community, school personnel, and volunteers
