Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Secondary Education teacher to deliver Bible-based instruction for grades 6-12. Candidates should be active church participants with strong communication and interpersonal skills, dedicated to a caring, faith-centered classroom.

Responsibilities include completing training, teaching using LifeWise curriculum, maintaining records, and engaging with the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (school or church setting).
• Mature personal Christian faith consistent with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance, rosters, and health/permission records.
• Keep classroom organized and engaging with redemptive discipline.
• Communicate with program director, school staff, and volunteers regularly.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
