Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time LifeWise Secondary Education teacher for grades 6-12. The ideal candidate demonstrates in-depth Bible knowledge, strong teaching abilities, and active church participation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring, and commitment to LifeWise values.

Responsibilities include completing training and certification within 30 days, teaching LifeWise classes with the curriculum, maintaining attendance rosters, preparing substitute lesson

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters
• Prepare lesson plans and materials for substitutes
• Maintain organized classroom and promote a positive, redemptive discipline environment
• Communicate with program director and community partners to support student well-being
