Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking teachers for LifeWise classes in grades 6-12. The role requires Bible knowledge, excellent teaching, and active church involvement.

You will connect with students, deliver LifeWise curriculum, and foster a faith-centered learning environment. Responsibilities include completing training, maintaining attendance records, preparing lessons, coordinating with program staff, and representing LifeWise in the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience
• Active Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters
• Prepare adequate lesson plans and materials for substitutes
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director
• Promote LifeWise's mission in all duties and interactions
