Responsibilities

• Follow the prep list daily to prepare items for the shift and beyond.
• Label, date and stock items in walk-in cooler.
• Accurately measure all ingredients per spec.
• Wash, chop, and sort ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats.
• Prepare salads, guacamole and various menu items per recipes and specifications.
• Parboil food, reduce sauces, and prepare simple dishes like salads.
• Set up salad prep cooler and station with fresh product for shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness by keeping kitchen areas and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Maintain a sanitizer bucket at station for each shift.
• Assist other cooks with tasks needed to open stations properly.
• Set up and season the tortilla griddle with oil, prep tortillas as needed.
• Assist all cooks and expeditors with kitchen clean-up.
