Position Overview

In this role, the Inside Sales Team Leader will lead a team of International Financial inside sales consultants to guide International Dealers through the Finance Process. Additionally, the team leader will be responsible for growing finance market share and margin and managing a book of retail finance business to reach International Financial goals. The role also involves training International Dealer personnel in International Financial systems and standards to build trust in relationships. International has a vast dealership network across the continental United States. This role is key to the success of International Financial.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of inside sales representatives covering key International Financial assigned accounts and book of business.
  • Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
  • Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends, and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
  • Close new accounts by answering telephone and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information into Salesforce CRM and credit systems.
  • Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history and needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing on various campaigns, leveraging OEM order board to generate leads.
  • Maintain customer communication by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems in credit applications and funding.
  • Maintain and improve customer records and recommend improved policies and procedures.
  • Update job knowledge by studying new financing product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
  • Achieve department and organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests.
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Handle both outbound and inbound customer calls.
  • In-field visits may be required (Travel less than 10%).
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 6 years of sales administration/operations, transactional price administration, or sales financial analysis experience
  • 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • Master’s degree
  • At least 4 years of sales administration/operations, transactional price administration, or sales financial analysis experience
  • 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • At least 8 years of sales administration/operations, transactional price administration, or sales financial analysis experience
  • 1 year of lead experience

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (e.g., US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, Asylee). We do not anticipate providing sponsorship for this position.
