Position Overview

In this role, the Inside Sales Team Leader will lead a team of International Financial inside sales consultants to guide International Dealers through the Finance Process. Additionally, the team leader will be responsible for growing finance market share and margin, managing a book of retail finance business to meet International Financial goals, and training Dealer personnel in financial systems and standards to build trust. International has a vast dealership network across the continental United States. This role is key to the success of International Financial.

Navistar Financial Company (NFC) is the captive finance company for International Motors, LLC* and provides InternationalTM Financial services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of inside sales representatives covering key accounts and a book of business.
  • Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding technical requirements, providing information, and developing accounts.
  • Assess competitors by analyzing trends and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching potential accounts, building rapport, and providing quotations.
  • Close new accounts by handling inquiries and entering information into Salesforce CRM and credit systems.
  • Maintain customer communication and troubleshoot issues in credit applications and funding.
  • Update and improve customer records, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay informed about new financing products through study and training.
  • Achieve department and organizational goals by taking ownership of requests.
  • Handle outbound and inbound customer calls; field visits may be required (less than 10% travel).
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with relevant experience.
  • At least 6 years (or 4 years with Master’s) of sales administration/operations, transactional price administration, or sales financial analysis experience.
  • 1 year of lead experience.
