Position Overview

In this role, the Inside Sales Team Leader will lead a team of International Financial inside sales consultants to guide International Dealers through the Finance Process. The team leader will also be responsible for growing the finance market share and margin, managing a book of retail finance business to meet International Financial goals, and training International Dealer personnel in Financial systems and standards to build trust. International has a vast dealership network across the continental United States. This role is crucial to the success of International Financial.

ABOUT NFC

Navistar Financial Company (NFC) is the captive finance company for International Motors, LLC* and provides InternationalTM Financial services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of inside sales representatives managing key International Financial accounts and business.
  • Generate revenue by soliciting orders, understanding technical requirements, providing information, and developing accounts.
  • Analyze competitors to identify sales opportunities.
  • Develop sales opportunities through research, prospecting, rapport building, and quotations.
  • Close new accounts by handling inquiries and updating Salesforce CRM and credit systems.
  • Develop accounts by assessing customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and leverage OEM order board for leads.
  • Maintain customer communication and troubleshoot issues in credit applications and funding.
  • Maintain and improve customer records, and recommend policy improvements.
  • Stay updated on new financing products and participate in educational opportunities.
  • Achieve department and organizational goals by taking ownership of tasks.
  • Seek opportunities to add value to job responsibilities.
  • Handle both outbound and inbound customer calls.
  • Occasional field visits may be required (less than 10% travel).
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in sales administration, transactional price administration, or sales financial analysis
  • 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • Master’s degree
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience
  • 1 year of lead experience
